Porsche car show
I took a few pictures of the Porsche car show at the Waynesville, NC Country Club a few weeks ago. Sorry for the delay but there were some beautiful Porsches there. Not totally 993 related but quite nice.
**** I accidentally deleted the pictures this morning when I tried to add more. No attachments allowed at this point. Sorry, but am glad some of you saw them. The set below are just as nice.

Good driving country up there around Waynesville...I've been through there several times on various "laps" through North Georgia and North Carolina...Thanks for the photos...I particularly liked the last frame in the first set.

As far as flying golf ***** my first thought upon arrival was looking at adjacent holes for any stray tee shots. They had it planned out real well. Not a chance!

They've promised to do it again next year and I encourage anyone within a reasonable drive to attend. Proceeds went to a local canine rescue organization and they had about 1/2 dozen very well-mannered (none pee'd on tires) pooches in attendance. It was a "People's Choice" with the public invited to attend and vote. The facility is top-notch and they offered bargain rates of $79 & $89/nite which included a sumptuous breakfast buffet. The entry fee was something like $150/couple which included a wine reception Fri. nite, Sat. lunch and Sat. nite banquet. TRG had a race car, their Mgr. of Club Racing Operations, Martin Steger and Pro Racing driver Duncan Ende. All in all, a very enjoyable, low-key week-end with superb, cool, rain-free weather.
