Pics of Rain Gutter Delete
I just searched for a minute or two and couldn't find any pics. I get my car back tomorrow from her 2nd paint job in as many months and didn't think about doing the rain gutters until just now. Wondering what I'm missing out on! If anyone has a pic I'd love to take a gander.

I'd be willing to get wet for some style. God knows my car is no where near functional as it is!

You give me hope, pics of your car inspired me to get under mine and give cleaning it a shot. I lasted about 5 minutes before I opted for a one hitter instead. I'm happy to say that any area you can see without being on your back is perfect. The underside is a mess though. It's 101 out in Seattle right now, hottest day in its history.

I have my rain gutters shaved. It looks great!
btw, I have no problem with rain coming in. . . even when it does rain here in Reno. I would argue that the "rain gutters" are more a remnant of the manufacturing process, than actually needed. Most newer cars don't have them.

I think the deleted rain gutters look terrific, and they help reduce drag at high speeds to a not inconsiderable degree. Deleted gutters were one of the super-cool details on the original Ruf Yellowbird.
The only reason I personally wouldn't do them is that they involve a HUGE amount of labor -- cutting, welding, grinding, inch by inch -- and aesthetically, you, the owner, are probably the only person who will ever notice, and then only when you look for it. I'd rather spend a fraction of the cost on factory RS splitters and rocker panels, or rims, or something like that.
