And it seems that the 97 Cab was faster than the Coupe. LOL So there, I hope that settles the debate!
Obviously they didn't have a 95 non VR for the test

Interesting how the super expensive iron was knocked out by a Radical.

Not very practical as a DD but the fun is guaranteed...

Ahhh, you mean the "underpowered 95"?

They did test it, but its 10:58 time came 50 seconds below the Ford Transit which is the last one on the list.

Apparently, passengers were getting off the Van when the non VR 95 arrived almost a minute later.

Cactizzler - Don't remind me!!!! I could be chillin' this weekend drinking beers while the wife is off in Put-In-Bay enjoying herself. Instead, I'll be hanging cabinets and getting the kitchen back together. How does this seem fair

Surprising the GTR is not listed...didn't it turn a 7:26 or 28??

How, is completely lost on me.

  • No SAI.
  • No Immobilizer.
That's all I have to say about that.

That lap time made my day.

Concerning the 993 wide body's lap time being slightly higher than the narrow body, I wonder if this might be because its top speed is a bit less.

And I also wonder which gear box was in the subject car i.e. a G50/20, or a 21?

IMHO,
Those lap times don't mean squat.........different cars, different drivers with huge differences in skill, different track temps, different tires, different suspension, different brakes, etc., etc.

No matter how hard you try you still can't evenly compare apples to oranges.................ZP44

It has been a dream of mine for 15 years or so to go for a ride with Mr. Rohrl. Wonder how hard it would be to make that happen?

might be easier to get a ride with sabine...she is pretty quick around the ring and will drive your car for a modest fee. she is easy on the eyes also.

That would be so cool. Someone on this board must have an "in" with him, but like another poster said, riding with Sabine wouldn'e be horrible either.
