the day ended up turing out to be pretty good. lots of rain in the morning but around 3pm the sun came out. my dad and i drove my c4s and arrived about 10:45. i had to park near the end of the row and immediately ran in to simsoap-andy and his wife. it was nice to meet them. andy actually won a award for "coolest car" or something like that............

during the trip down i must have hit something because the passenger side lower rocker panel near the front wheel was pulled down out of the clip about 1/2 inch. i was able to push it back in (somewhat) but it isn't fixed. i think i'll need to order a new clip. i'm on my way to the garage after i post to check it out in more detail. i also have to wash my car...it got filthy in the rain. all in all, it was a great 250-mile round trip with my dad. he ended up winning a huge give-away prize from griots garage-probably around a $150 value.

oh yeah.....darin......i was promoting fister sport exhaust mods with my t-shirt and car. more that a couple people commented on the exhaust note.

a guy snapping pics for EXCELLENCE even asked me to pull my car out so he could take more pics of it. that would be cool if it made it in!

yeah, the spyder belongs to a young guy in my 356 club...he's got a B coupe also. he is doing a lot of custom work to it to make it look less kit car and more original. chuck beck and his son were there also with their own spyder and a couple 904 (kits). the 904 looked awesome!

It was great to meet you Roche, your Stage III sounded really nice as you rolled into the P2O event. Your wheels in person are very cool - pics to not do them justice. So did you dad end up giving you his prize he won? LOL! I won the "Forgeline Award" it's based on aftermarket wheels, helps if they are Forgeline's. The design I went with is pretty unique so I think it helped! Great to meet you!
