Smog Test Results and PPI / Leakdown / Compression question
I don't know much about smog tests, or the results of the tests...so I have a question for the forum: With smog tests as good as below is there a reason to do a compression and leakdown test?
If the valve guides were worn out, the HCs would be higher correct?
HC (PPM)
Idle: 4 measured, 17 average
2500rpm: 4 measured, 12 average
and
CO
Idle: 0.00 measured, 1.00 max, 0.00 ave
2500RPM: 0.00 measured, 1.00 max, 0.10 ave
%CO2:
idle: 14.7%
2500RPM: 15%
%O2:
idle:0.4
2500rpm: 0.1
All the visuals passed...
