I don't know the car but the starting price seems high even for such a beautiful low mile car. 1996 S's usually bring less $$ than 97's or 98's. But if its what you want than go for it.

The eBay ad states the car has the Motorsound option, however the option code 159 is missing from the option code label in the photos. It has the motorsound exhaust tips and it may have had the motorsound airbox cover added (inexpensive), but does it have the factory motorsound mufflers? In any case, the Motorsound equipment must have been added.

That's a low option car. Essentially, the only significant factory option is the power seats.

Thanks guys...I really appreciate the comments and Carfax! I've been out of the market for a while and am just getting serious again after selling one of my cars (not a P-car). Although I'm not fond of the interior color, I want a really, really clean 993 so this one caught my eye. Thanks again.

It will not sell for this price but you can contact the seller for more information and try to work something after the auction. Mid to high forties might be the current market value if it is flawless. Would be interesting why the seller wants to unload it so fast. In general, I like buying from private much more than from a dealership. Be careful because very low mileage can create issues too. PPI is always a must.

Beautiful car , great color combo! He may be using TruSpeed as a base for pricing
I would inquire about why the quick sale after 2 months, the pic shows a temp tag in the rear. Probably not a pic he took to show how excited he was to have it,.. but lends weight to the fact that he or she bought it to resell quickly.
Either way it could be a perfect car nontheless, just a guy trying to make a back or two in this economy.
