Default PPI - Compression and Leakdown Test for Rebuilt Engine

Hi - would you recommend a compression and leakdown test for a non-turbo 993 that has been recently got the engine rebuilt by a reputable shop?

Thanks for opinions.

It would be a good baseline and would tell you if the rings have seated and if the valve job was good. Why not?

Yep. Just budget it into your cost of acquisition and ownership of an 11-plus year old machine.
