Default Random question #2: cost to change interior color

If one wanted to change the interior of a 993 cab, estimates on cost, both for DIY and for have someone else do? I wouldn't need front seats.

Depends on what parts you need and the color. Buy the door panels, center console, rear quarters, and rear seats for $1500. Sell your current parts for maybe $200. Would take approx 3-4 hrs for that.

But if you need to change the carpet, that's a whole 'nother story. Dash is a high cost item too.

Lol, probably 30-40 hrs plus the $700 cost of the carpet plus maybe $500 in misc other costs. I'd never pay to have somebody do that. I did mine myself and it took forever. Lots of little things complicate the project.

Oh, ps. if you need upper + lower dash, add another $800 give or take.

40 hours? Holy moly...what am I missing? I think they built the whole car in less than that?
