Uh oh, Panamera is growing on me
The Panamera no longer looks like an awkward hearse to me. Maybe I'm losing my mind or reading too many positive reviews. Thankfully I still can't justify the cost so I can just have an opinion without backing it up!

Three Wheelin'
IMHO...
looks like someone cut a Cayenne in two, then cut a Cayman in two. They then took the middle part of an Audi and (then) welded all three (sub)parts together.
Jeebers, fellas, over the years I've seen the 'lines' and 'features' of many cars showing up as 'copycats' in other manufacturers cars. Case in point ...remember when the Mercedes Benz "C" class came out? - everyone was 'impressed' at those newly-shaped headlamps. Trouble is KIA (yes KIA) brought out a sedan not long after, with virtually the same headlamps.
The 928 'shape' is so cool it's both eye-catching and, simultaneously, 'makes a sports-car statement' whether the car is in motion or just parked. Among all the cars, out there, your eye *natually* flicks over to it, as you pass by.
I'm sorry, I'm a car-guy, love shapes, innovations, etc. -- but jeebers, I can't get over the 'stitched-together' look. Maybe it'll grow on me (doubt it) and at close to 100 grand a pop, not in my immediate future.
OK, rant off.

I read the article on the Panamera in the latest issue of Excellence. From a design standpoint I think they've nailed it, I will hold judgment on looks until I see one in the flesh.

I'll admit I love the looks EXCEPT for it's huge hump in back. It completely ruins the looks of the car, and I'm frankly amazed Porsche is willing to sell something so damn fugly. Seriously, photochop the rear roofline down a bit, and you'll see how much better it looks.

I'm in the exact same camp... after reading the article, I found myself re-visiting my judgement...

RUF Panamera Turbo!
I agree with Cactus! It is Sweeeeeeet! It is an awesome car. All reviews are outstanding as expected from Porsche.
For that kind of money I personally would buy a Cayenne GTS and save the rest for mods. on my 993 and new GTS.
