Default Looking for a CDR 220 Socket

I am in the process of switching over to a CDR 220 from the original CR 1. Since my car has the hifi option, I think I need a C1 socket so that I can splice the wires from the original amp into the new head unit without doing much alteration. I have attached a drawing of where the C1 socket fits into the back of the radio.

Does anyone have a spare c1 socket that I can buy from them, preferably with all six wires?

Many thanks.

Not sure but I think that's a fairly standard DIN plug that fits a variety of european made headunits. Check with a local custom auto stereo shop and see if they can sell you one. You can always try Becker NA as they likely have access to them as well.

Thanks 2many cars. I tried Becker NA and they only sell the socket with RCA adaptor for the new amps. I could cut the RCA plugs off but I don't think the harness has all 6 wires for me to splice in the connection for the Nokia amp.

I will take the radio to a specialty store in town and see what they come up with.

Yeah that would be kind of a waste. If you find a plug but without all six pins you can add the pins. That's what I did with my plug so I could add the speed and reverse leads for the Traffic Pro. The dealers sell pins that you can solder to a wire and insert in the plug. They're not sold for the radio but actually for other connections. IIRC I used the pins for the windshield washer pump, I think they were P/N 999-652-871-22, like most things Porsche outrageously priced at about $2.50 each! Double check that P/N though if you order them.

I know what you mean, I recently bought some light bulbs for the techcometer and I paid over $10 for 1 bloody tincy wincy bulb.
The part # for the pins will come in handy if I can find a used one. The search continues....
Thanks again.

I'd try www.swstereo.com...they'll most likely have it.
