OT: Manheim Auction results
Hey Guys,
I am looking at getting a Touareg V10 TDI to replace my soon to be turned in leased Passat Wagon. Does anyone have Manheim access that could let me know what 2006 TDIs are going for in NE/East Coast? Thanks!

I have a friend that was letting me look at that a couple days ago, I'll see if I can get info for you. What market do you want me to look in? I don't think I can look nationwide for sales results.

Hello Kevin,
I have access and been to several Manheim auctions. One word of caution, most of the vehicle there are not to my standard of above average condition. Since most are lease returns/repo, owners don't tend to take care of them compared to if they are going to keep it long term. If you are looking at a private party vehicle and in clean condition, pay a little more, it is worth it. My $0.02. Good luck on your search.

thanks for all the great info. I wouldn't buy a car at an auction, especially a tdi as I have heard the wrong oil can cause some damage and the turbos would be a big issue. I was inquiring more to know what kind of room there was between price and cost. Thanks everyone I will let you know how the negotiations go although they are still a little while off. Just can't wait to get behind that beast!
