Delete em, paint em or leave em?

Race Car
I vote for delete. I deleted mine and IMHO it gives the car a clean look. Your car, your choice. Plus anything that Cactus says you should do the direct opposite.

keep 'em black or delete 'em
Without them, and without the long license plate to fill it out, it doesn't necessarily look "clean" to me, just as if something is missing.
Painting them body color just looks too wierd.
Either way it's up to you, do what you like (and while you're deciding, listen to "Do What You Like" by Blind Faith to get in the mood )

I agree. Makes me want to consider getting a black frame myself to create a more blended look down there. I think as a trial I 'll pick up a cheapo black frame at Checker or wherever just to get a sense of it.

A good metal black plate frame (with black bolt plugs) does work nice to help define that space, imho

roche - Make that 2 of us in the minority!
I painted as a "stop-gap" measure to decrease the desire for Euro bumpers so I would have money for other mods. As time has gone by, I'm very happy I chose that route - if for no other reason, it makes my car "mine".
Also, don't let anyone else know, but silver cars with painted bumperettes are actually the fastest...
