Default Fister Stage II Upgrade...love it!

It's been well over 2 years since Darin did my Stage I muffler mod. I have really enjoyed it but after hearing many Stage II cars, I couldn't hold off any longer. Since I had the mufflers off, I decided to have him remove the 'pain-in-the-rear' heat shields/stays and have them ceramic-coated at the same time. After much self-debate about the finish (Velvet Black or Titanium), I decided to go with Cermachrome. There was really no bad choice, I just thought that if I decided to get caught up in the 'polish every part on your engine' craze, the chrome finish would look the best. Anyway, installed them last week. They look better than new, it was soooo easy to install them without heat shields. But the very best part is the new sound, it's just right, great growl at startup, every head turns. Mellow for cruising and awesome when 'on the gas'. Darin, you came through again and I love them, thanks so much!!!

I gotta get these. I am running the RSR's now and I need more sound,...just a little fearful they will be too much with top down. How much does Darin get for these?

Not sure if I am allowed to put prices here, but I am sure it's on the website, http://fdmotorsports.net/index.htm

The only problem with the Stage IIs is that eventually you'll want the Stage IIIs.

This is worse than crack.

I have the Stage II as well. Haven't been on a drive with them yet, but they sure sound good palying with the throtle in the shop.

I wonder if there is a break in period for the stage IIs?

I think these Stage IIs will be on my 95 sometime soon. I've had Supercups on for 9 months , six of which were sitting in the garage, and I'm growing tired of them. Fun for a fling but LOUD and almost muscle car sounding. Now if our Canuck Buck would go up just a wee bit more, a set of Stage IIs with the ceramic coating will replace the Supercups.

Yikes - wonder what that would sound like matched to my DACH-Xpipe instead of the RSR?

Stage II with the windows down in a coupe is just right. Windows up just a little quieter. They are very tasteful, more likely to last for the long term after the "Newness" wears off. Enough but not too much.

Question: Do the stage IIs have a break in period....I think mine are getting better after just 1 week!
