I have been burned other times here unfortunately when selling. Your first Post was a question too. Yyou then went to research. i was honest when i said I did not know if they would fit a C4. i could of just said, "Absolutely, send me your money!" and not care.

Sorry, I thought that saying I'd take them put me first in line. If I had known it would cost me the sale I would have paid and taken the chance they would fit.

No matter. Someone got a great deal on mats and next time I'll PM and post, and will try to be clearer.

I can see how as a seller this could go either way.

If you want the mats you can PayPal me and then rol607 can ship them to you. Or maybe he can just refund my payment, I'm not sure how that works with PayPal. Whatever route is cheapest and creates the least amount of grief, is fine with me. I can wait for the next deal, or just order some myself sometime if no others come up.

Wow, that's really good of you. But while I really appreciate your offer, rol607 is quite correct- I said I'd take them but was also asking a question. You made a deal and paid first and therefore you get the mats.

I think maybe in the future we should probably give some instruction as to "first to PM gets them", or "first to say 'I'll take them' gets them". I have seen this happen before, and actually been in a similar situation as a seller. It's difficult for everybody. It seems that posting in the thread lets everyone else know who is first, which can help.

Harlen Chinn mentioned about Automotion.com having 20% off their Lloyds Mats through May 9th. I believe that brought the price down to around $132.00excluding shipping.

Maybe email them to see if they'll still honor a 20% discount because you were away on a trip, just returned and missed their deadline???....

My net search brought up a couple of places also in that price ball park...
