Default I guess I'm done now - with my CAB

I own my CAB now since 2,5 years. As most of us when I bought my first Porsche I wasn't aware about all the things which I should looking for. Thanks to this board I have now more knowledge which helped me buying my second Porsche and fixing the issues with my CAB.
After I bought my CAB and I figured out all the things which the seller didn't tell me I decided to keep the CAB and to fix it in a way like I want it. So, here is a list of all the work which went into the car.

- wind stopper
- cup holder
- new Loyd mats
- HD Bilstein suspension upgrade with M030 springs and sway bars
- protection bar
- Euro turbo front bumper
- documented respray with complete new seals
- Litronics
- complete new leather interior (door panels, upper and lower dash, center console etc.)
- hard back sport seats with painted back in exterior color
- 3 spoke steering wheel and airbag in full leather
- silver Porsche crest on hood
- LWF clutch
- MY02 rims in black
- painted break calipers in yellow
- RSD

I really have the feeling that I now got the CAB which I always was looking for. Down the road I may have to replace the top in 2-3 years.

Well, one thing, I'm not sure if there were leather sun visors out there and if they were an option. May somebody from the board can point me in a direction to find them.

Also, if anybody has any ideas for additional upgrades - I'm always willing to listen ;-) What I won't do is any upgrades in HP performance.

Again, thanks to all the help and support along my projects from this great board.

Wow, I love the look. And those seats... interior overall... great mods, IMO.

One idea (the driver's door pull slightly out of place caught my attention) you can get aluminum, black powdercoated door pulls that are pretty nice. Small change but satifying.

On the visors, cool idea covering them in leather. I like it.
Easiest and best route might be to jsut have the recovered. There are a couple of great shops that could do this or you could probably find someone local.

So this would be a quadruple black cab?

here's a pic of the perferated version Rennline sells:

T: This may sound sorta lame, but one of my favorite mods is one-touch windows. Pretty easy DIY.

you'll probably want to hardwire the radar detector at some point...the dangly cord get annoying!

You didn't mention the black powder coated exhaust tips.
It looks like they are there.

@ Brewmeister, You are right! I didn't mentioned every little detail. But after having everything in black the stainless steal exhaust tips didn't lock right. So I got them powder coated black too. Also, the exhaust package is the factory Motorsound which is absolutely enough for me.

If you decide to recover your sunvisors in leather you may want to imbed a homelink into it....it's on my to-do list...I've had the parts for 2 years but never got around to it

Jack -

Rob Budd of the 928 Leather Shop can hook up your visors in leather. Sweet looking CAB.

@Arena993,
Here is where I got the cup holder from http://www.prestigeparts.co.uk/993.htm. You have to look under Aluminum interior. There you will find the leather one.

BTW - I love your blue CAB project. I was somewhat conservative when I bought my first Porsche and went with black for potential resale value etc. Now with my second one I went with Ferrari fly yellow ;-)
