Default Salvage Suggestions: M5 rotors

Hi,

I have a set of 4 old E39 M5 steel rotors. They are probably a little warped and pitted. Besides throwing them away in the garbage, what can I do with them?

(1) Try scrap metal places? They weight a ton each.
(2) BMW junk yards?

All suggestions welcomed. Thanks.

Contrary to popular belief, as long as they aren't cracked from high heat, these rotors can be turned to true them up as long as, after turning, they aren't too close to minimum thickness (which is cast into the rotor). It's important that they not be turned too fast and that they are Blanchard-ground after turning. If you know someone with an M5, let them get it done or get it done, then sell to whoever wants them.
