sprung my car today
Yeeee-haaa, we're out of winter storage, today.
After reading the white residue thread a few weeks ago, I arranged for the car to be taken directly from storage to my tech, for a brake and clutch fluid flush. The brake fluid turned out to be in good shape, but the clutch fluid looked like "gummy bears" (his description). So this was all good.
He also inflated the tires to 36/44, (I had them at 32/35) and the car seems to feel better, but I haven't driven it for 7 months, so I'm not sure.
With the exception of the exhaust tips, the car looks almost as clean as Andreas' (I didn't show the front, because it's got a few bug pits).
It was sure nice to be back driving it; like having a new car.

May all your miles be filled with smiles! I've been running around for a while now here in Philly and still find that I need to pull over on the side of the road (now and then ) just to catch my breath!!) Nice to know you are on the same vibe! Cheers@

Thanks for the comments everybody. I was feeling like this around here, when my car was in storage:
I'll re set those today. Yes, my Twists are solids, and therefore, I take it, replicas. My main objective is to have a pressure that maximizes tire life.
With the blizzards that hit us in April, I wanted to keep the Subie inside for a while longer. When the 993 comes home, the Subie goes into the backyard, and it's inconvenient to get it in and out. I've put the garage expansion on hold, until the recession blows over..
Are you the one organizing the Bow Valley Club outing? Look forward to meeting you at the PCA functions soon.
Andreas and Aribop have inspired me to do this. I would have had time yesterday, but I was guiding some Brits:
Matt / Steven: what's some good polish I can get locally?

I've had mine out for a month...Matt777
Now we need to get you to Race City...Trophy

Out of storage
Congrats on getting back on the road. Seven months is a looong time. Put mine in storage a year and a half ago in PEI and it sat there for 7 months as well. Didn't even have the satisfaction of being able to look at it til I arrived in May to rescue it. At least I had a blast driving it around the island for a couple months before bringing it back to TO. I'm sure it will only take you one or two runs through those amazing mountains to get back into the swing.

Race Car
I use Meguiars, and have for a long time (maybe not the best but the car looks ok for a track car) I get the basic stuff from Canadian Tire if i need the more commercial Meguiars I get it from Bowness Auto.

I have to admit that I haven't polished the car yet. Polar Silver looks good even when it's dirty. That said I have a whole cupboard full of 3M and Meguiar's products. I used the Meguiar's NXT spray wax on the 'Cuda and it seems to work just fine.
