I have just installed a Gemballa rear wing spoiler replacing my factory retractable spoiler. My problem is now there is no retractable rear spoiler and everytime I reach cruising speed the rear spoiler warning lite comes on.

Is there a way to turn off the rear spoiler activation or at least some wiring modification I can do to turn off the light?

I think all you need to do is disconnect the spoiler control module, it's located under the passenger footwell.

Simply grab hold of the module itself in one hand and gently release the electrical connector from the side. If the connector is too stubborn to pry off, you can unscrew the module from its base which will allow you some room to get in there and disconnect the module.
