DIY 993 bike rack
Not having much time to drive the 993 during weekends due to mountain biking, I decided to make a way to combine both.
Design "borrowed" from the Wilwood system I have on my Boxster.

Any close ups on how you built the rack?
Did you explore using a roof rack?
I would love to combine my biking and p-car hobbies.

Being an avid biker this looks like one fantastic solution! I didn't know you could use your 993 for bike transport...awesome!

Thats using your noggin! Please post close ups of the mounting method if you dont mind. Also, did you use a prefabbed rack or did you make that too? Great idea! (I hope you are strapping the rear tire down!)

Great solution here, but if you just want to go buy something the Yakima (and I'd imagine Thule) units work off the shelf. Drip rails make it a snap for old school mounts. I think I even attached the cargo box to the top of the old '92 C4 at some point.

Wow! What a great solution. Please let us know how you did it, what rack you modified, etc.

The bike rack looks pretty cool, but isn't that what a Cayenne was designed for?

Gimme a few days to post some more pics with more details.
Btw, who would want to take the Cayenne when you can take the 993?
