RIVI BLUE CAB - Sport Seats Done couple of pics

Bob:
Some things I leave to the pros, however I did get the seats back disassembled from the shop when I had the backs painted. I looked the seat backs over and they are pretty much bolted on the frame. The leather covers have a bead that slips into a channel on the seat backs. How to remove all that is a guess at best.

Did I miss something here re: getting the leather bolsters off of sport seats? I just swapped mine side-to-side (driver wear was starting to show), and basically just pulled it out of the channel. That, plus some upholstery clips holding the front of the seat side to a metal rod that runs around the perimeter. Center seatback cushion just pulls out. Did not take the seatbacks off the frames as you would have to do for painting; just wasn't needed in my case. Took me all of about 45 mins.

Hello Mike,
Thanks for taking the time to speak with me while in Louisville.
I had a pair of leather pole position seats in my old guards red 993, now the cactus mobile.
My wife and I found them very comfortable. Too me, better then the standard seats, once you are in them. We drove the car from Detroit to Indy for the F1 race, no issues at all.
Thanks again,
AL Z
