Bad Day at the Office - Pics
Well, went to leave work yesterday, pulled the cover off of my car, and found that someone gave me a nice present but did not leave a card! I usually prefer to park on the street but today there was no space so I used the parking lot instead. In hindsight this was obviously a bad choice.
Other than the airbag light being, the car seems to run and drive fine so hopefully it is just a flesh wound.
The good thing is that I still have a job so I can afford to pay my deductible!
Does anybody have any first hand experiences with good body shops around Orange County, CA???

Ugh - this happened to me once back in my Alfa Romeo days; apparently someone had backed into me and then left.
I spent some time looking for a bumper with the right height, but (perhaps luckily) I did not find the jerk.
I hope this is an easy fix (and to think you are careful enough to cover the car at work).

Wow. I'm sorry. That really sucks. Happened to me on my birthday this past year, but it was nowhere near that bad. I hope it gets fixed without too much hassle.
As for body shops, Brace's up in Westchester is thought of as one of the best. He's done work for me and some friends and everyone seems very happy with him. It's not OC, but it's not too far.

That is truly terrible and I feel for you as do we all
I just hope that the body shop can pull the wing straight rather than having to install a new one

Wow! That's terrible. I'm sorry that happened to you. As far as body shops, check out Rosey's Auto Body in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach. My family's been going to them for years (not really sure that's a good thing) and they are top notch. Over the years, they've repaired Mercedes-Benzes, BMWs, Audis and Lexuses (of a variety of paint colors) for us and the results have always been excellent. They also do work for Sterling BMW, Newport Auto Center, and other high-end dealerships in town.
Ask for Alex. He's one of the owners and used to be Lee Iacocca's paint guru, so the man knows his paints. Manny used to be the other owner, but I'm pretty sure it's just Alex and his wife now. Hope that helps...

Three Wheelin'
from the height of the hit... it looks like a pick up or SUV bumper... look for one with a slightly marred bumper...

Not sure they can save this fender without an undesirable amount of filler. There are mulitiple creases going all the way up to the quarter window.
What are the pros and cons of extreme fender repair vs. replacement? Anyone know?
