Default OT: Bumperette Delete

*Warning: crappy cell phone pic*

Well, I decided to do a bumperette delete and also fill the plate holder holes. I looked over the DIY and felt I just didn't want to tackle it myself plus I don't have decent garage space to work in. (note the dayglow markings on the bumper for the body man.)

So, I took it down to my local body repair shop. I hope my little old 993 didn't feel too intimidated hanging out with the big boys for a while. I think I heard it whimpering a little bit as I left for home......

p.s, the Rolls had a dented passenger door; nothing appeared visually wrong with the Veyron.

Ahhhh, gotta love living in Southern California...

Should be a nice upgrade you're doing. Post some non-crappy no cell pics when you get it back!

Ummmmmmmmm.........HOLY CRAP!

Funny thing though, I still think the 993 is the nicest looking of the three. It looks like it would fit in the trunk of the Roller too.

since you're doing all that, you might want to think about deleting the headlight washers too.

I think when I get the bumper holes and bumperettes removed, I'm going to have the washers filled as well.

I totally agree and want to do the headlight washer delete, too.

But this is Avio Piombetti's shop. The only way they'll do it (and they've done them many times before) is to remove the fenders and weld metal behind the holes and paint.

That's apparently the 'proper' way but I just can't afford it. (The Phantom and the Bugatti may be the only cars visible in the pic; the place is littered with Astons, Bentleys, etc..)

But his work is flawless.....

Check out the old Honda in the background. Hondas of that vintage turned to dust
years ago here in the northeast.
