I have a 96 deflector on my 95 therefore I believe 95 thru 98 is the same .

The parts numbers are very similar. ie they end in 979-01 vs 979-02 but i just cant find out whether this is a difference just because it is a different year or whether the part is actually any different.

Trying to pull the trigger on this so any help is appreciated

With the top down you should see this behind the driver's shoulder. That's where the deflector mounts. If not, you need to order the mounting hardware as well.

Thanks, I do have that hardware already on the car (one less hassle I guess)
