Default A few pics of the RIVI BLU CAB in the body shop

Here are some shot of the car in the shop. We are moving along pretty quick these days. I have been helping in the sanding department. Sanding sucks big time. Here are the pics in no particular order.

Here are the Aerokit 1B Sideskirts stripped and ready to be primed

Here the hood was removed. Notice my little note to the body shop on the headlight washers.

TT bumper getting prepped.

The next 2 pics are thosed blasted headlight washers I am having deleted.

Here the doors are removed. Makes the car easier to paint.

DIRTY GIRL

Fender sanded

Doors on stand waiting to be prepped

Tim:

I am in the middle of the project. Nothing left but paint, reassemble and detail

^^^ I am glad I am doing this, but I really didn't know the full undertaking of the project. This is a ton of work. It will be worth it, but I would think twice about doing it again.

May I ask why you have the shell behind the headlights removed?

I was curious if that gave better access to the ballast resistor (w/o having to pull the fender liner and associated pieces).

Knowing the work you've done on the interior I bet you cringe looking at the dust on it now.
