Question Torque spec question...

Will someone tell me what the torque spec for the lower intake runner bolts is? Preferably in foot pounds. Thanks!

You need to be momre specific. Are you referring to the rubber boot that connects to the intake with the 7mm strap?

If you are asking about the small socket head bolts that fasten the uprights to the heads, give me a minute. I need to run out to the shop and check the manual.

EDIT: I could not find the value in the 'Engine' manual and will check in the 'Fuel' manual tomorrow.

Andreas,

If he is referring to the 7mm bolt, I don't think there is torque spec. for that. You don't really need it, just tighten the strap down tight, that's all.

There is an old Chinese saying that applies to this, "Take off your pants to fart". Those who speaks Chinese should find that funny. :P :P :P

Robin,
I think the question refers to the small bolts that hold each intake riser stub to the heads. The rubber boots slide over these and are held in place by clamps.

Yes, I am asking about the three 6mm bolts that hold the lower intake to the head. Thanks.

Albert,
I looked everywhere in the manuals and could not find anything related to the bolts in question. Sorry.

Thanks for looking, Andreas. I just torqued to 7 foot/pounds just like the rocker cover bolts.
