Nice to see the real ones. But it's sooooooooo much less stressful to "exercise" the clones at the limits.

Thanks
I was lucky I think if was just a standard car I wouldntve brought it,the turbo S was my ultimate car though but had it for 2yrs miles were creeping up so decided to sell, but is IMO just a little bit unlike driving the n/b rwd 911 which I love,so the rs (genuine) is for me a non starter for no other reason than the price! Due to the money spent on this one and the fact I do drive em on track days ect this car was perfect for me. It really is a nice one feels brand new to drive!

I love the color! Perfect RS color!

But 94´? RS (style)? Sunroof?

Is it a RS clone or the real thing?

If it is the real RS i wonder about the year and
the first owner is a real sunroof lover that he ordered one for a RS!

Sunroof and RS!?

Greetings Christian

no its not a genuine RS,though looking thru the invoces the owner that spent the lions share of the money couldve got a real one for what it cost,he couldnt find a speed yellow rhd one, it even has solid rs flywheeland clutch,if youread my post i did say ,im not kidding myself (or anyone else),all the work was done bar the xenons which i feel are a great upgrade on these, this is my 8th 993 by the way, though have seen a genuine RS with a sunroof e/windows,clocking and air con thanks anyway! I enjoy the sunroof too not having aircon,
G

Gary, just read your thread. Beautiful car. Would love some more observations on the move from the turbo to your RS clone. I'm looking to buy a similar project over the coming months. I hope I'm as lucky as you are in finding a nice example with some of the work already done. What are you replacing the RS wing with...GT2 or RSCS wing?

Thanks Ive driven a "real" rs on the nurburgring and TBH this car is acually a bit harder its just as powerfull but is so sharp to drive and set up so well by ninemeister, I really missed this with the turbo and the turbo always wanted to push its nose out at the limit though you can just stomp on the throttle way too early on the exit and not get to tangled up! I miss the power but love this car its as near as i want to get to the financial commitment need to own a rs here in the uk they are £100k fo a nice one only 50ish rhd cars made Im fitting a genuine porsche clubsport wing as this still uses the steel lid I dont like the fibreglass replica ones will post a pic for you good luck with your search

Thanks for the feedback. Nobody is going to complain about the extra 120HP on the turbo but I just don't like forced induction cars and much prefer RWD to AWD. I think your car is the best bang for the buck and if I had 100k to spend on an NA, I would take a 9m Clubsport over a real RS anyway. There's a youtube video of a yellow "RS" at NR. Is that your car? Your car will look great with the CS wing!
