SSR GT10 wheels -- Did I make a mistake?
Browsing thru Tirerack site and saw these on clearance:
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...2FPolished+Lip
$99 each......
Here is the problem:
1. 993 are not designed for 19 inch rims and blah blah blah
2. The reason they are $99 each is because only 1 front is available, so now I have to look for another 19x8 wheel to complete the set, which I may not be able to find at all.
Advice sought:
1. keep the order and look for the 4th wheel somewhere else to complete the set and hope 19 inch rims are not going to ruin my car OR
2. Call Monday AM first thing and ask my order be cancelled, even if the wheels are $99 each.
3. Expensive paper weight (kidding, who needs 3 wheels for that?)
Thanks for inputs and comments!!

If it were me your point #1 sums it up...no point in having them just because the deal was good. Unless you have another car lined up...

If you like the wheels, keep em. That's good enough reason of 19s.
But they're out of production wheels. If you can't fine a source for the missing wheel by
tomorrow morning, I'd cancel the order.

I say no for a couple of reasons....
- First I find 19 wheels to be too big for a 993 and doesn't matter how tucked in the fenders you ride, the car still looks jacked up.
- Second, good luck in finding the fourth wheel. I have seen these wheels before but don't recall on any 993s. They might be cheap but still too expensive to have them sit in the garage until you find lucky #4.

Here's question: what kind of link did you post? It looks like a tirerack.com link, but here's where it goes when you click it:
Is this some sort of IB revenue generation gimmick, or what?

I had 18" SSRs GT3s before my LMs. I still have them in my garage collecting dust. I have low miles Pzeros N4s all around. I love the way these things look on our cars.
The SSRs are very light rims.
I love those GT10s, but finding the missing front will not be easy. These things are fairly rare to start with. I think Tirerack is one of the very few (if not the only one) distributor for this brand in the USA. I'd do what icelatte said.

Here's what 18" GT3s look like on a Narrow Body. My set probably came from tirerack too. The previous owner bought them two years ago.
I suspect your 19s would have roughly the same size lip.

+1 on the SSR quality. I have them (competitions) on my Subaru and they have been fantastic after all I have put them through (been on the car for 6 years now).
I say look for another, and powder coat the centers black if it will match or look good with your car
