Riviera/Turquoise/Mexico Blue picture thread

Riviera Blue. Just bought it so I haven't even gotten to enjoy the color in person as I won't take physical delivery of the car til I move to Atlanta in June. Until then, I'll just enjoy it through photos.

So, way up in this thread I posted pictures of my 993 turquoise blue targa. They were taken in the UAE on a drive with the UAE porsche club when I was working in Dubai. In 2014 I was asked to move to Singapore and so we thought why not. Only problem was I couldn't take the targa so instead we shipped it back to the UK and it is still sitting (hopefully) in storage waiting for our return which is getting ever closer. I have not actually seen the car since it went into storage way back when but we got these photos last summer from the storage company who seem to be doing a great job of looking after it, keeping it running and MOT'd and ready to go. I see all the pictures on this forum and 911 UK of people out on drives and enjoying their cars and cant wait for the day when I am back behind the wheel and heading off on some awesome road trip. For now, I have the pictures !!

It does suck for sure. Cars in Singapore are very very expensive so I dont even have a normal car here! The storage cost is not too prohibitive although some would think it is crazy to pay to store it for so long but I didnt actually expect it to be 5 years and then, how many turquoise blue 993 targa's are there!

Beat me to it!
Funnyism seeing all those smiling workers--we visit the factory in the spring of '99, where the tour really starts when you get off the elevator at the engine shop was a 993 turbo engine. I mention that that's what I'd like to take home in my luggage. Our guide is very dismissive in stating that was "the old technology." Well, 11 years later we kinda know how spiffy those initial M96 engines turned out................

Would you say that picture is an accurate representation of Riviera Blue? I ask this because for example, I've seen a lot of pictures of Miami Blue and many times, the camera and processing changes the color to be more blue than it really is when instead it's more of a greenish blue and more like a turquoise/teal color.

I actually didn’t take the above picture, it was taken at a recent C&C. It looks pretty close to me, maybe a little milky in the sunlight. The color can appear different in the sun and shade. Here are a few more pictures in different lighting conditions (sunlight/shade/garage) including a couple with my buddy @JAB12 and his gorgeous PTS horizon blue metallic 997TT at the 2019 Mandarin PCA Concours.

I am thinking of getting my car wrapped and I want to go with Turquoise Blue. By any chance does anyone know of the name of a close match colour in either 3M or another widely available brand? I can't seem to connect with a shop that knows of a match. They keep just saying, 'no problem, we'll find something close.'

My 993 Blue Turquoise at work. I'm doing a complete restoration including engine overhaul with new pistons all bearings. New suspension from Bilstein. The car should be like new when the job is finished. I hope you like my "project 993".

Beautiful @agent911
You need a set of Bumper Plugs for that front bumper. They are like $30 and probably the best bang for your buck improvement you can make. I bought a set in blue turquoise for my C4S and the color match is perfect.
