Interesting but probably going to be a tough sell. That said, I've noticed several ultra-low mile RHD RSs come up for sale in the UK recently (RB <4000miles, GR <6000 miles, GPW <2500 miles) for 125,000GBP. WOW!
I guess it's debatable whether you'd consider this is a regular C2 with all the RS gear or an RS with the body from a regular C2 (6 vs. half dozen). The vin goes with the tub as I understand things, so I think I'd say the original RS has gone to Porsche heaven and donated it's organs to make a nice a RS replica. Nothing wrong with that and the price reflects that I guess, but just thought 're-shelled' was a funny description.

I suspect the seller might disagree! At least he is being transparent about the car's provenance. These issues are not uncommon on the early911sregistry. Given the raison d'etre of the wonderful 964RS & 993 RS, it is hardly surprising that many are likely to have had major prangs/offs. The value of rebodied/reshelled examples is likely to be the subject of much debate in the coming years. All interesting stuff with a variety of opinions likely. Ultimately, the "value" market price car of this car will be determined by it's selling price.
