Great Idea. You have a beautiful daughter. Enjoy her younger years, they grow up very quickly. I have three girls, 1 in college, 1 a senior in high school, and one a freshman. Now I spend my time interviewing boys.

I bought a fuchs wheel with part of the inner rim bent on ebay for $20 and it was delivered yesterday. I was planning on fabricating a mounting bracket, using the lug nuts, and holding it an inch or so off the wall; but your way is much easier. I'll bolt mine on this weekend.

It came in the mail and my wife said "I hope your not planning on making a coffee table out of that thing".
