My son and I were in the garage yesterday screwing around and he held up a cold airbox cover I bought from Gert over a year ago. He asked how come I hadn't put it on yet. I didn't have a good answer so we put it on.

What tail do you have and how close is the intake to the grill?

Thanks,

I have the aerokit 1 tail. It sits about two inches below the grill.

You have to have a tail in order for the high rise intake to fit. It will not fit with a stock movable spoiler

Chuck - Is the intake a Porsche part, or aftermarket? Assuming Porsche, can you post the part number for the snorkel?

Thx.....

It's a Porsche part and is meant to work with the factory RS tail.

Small holes near the bottom prevent it from being a water intake in the rain.

The snorkel looks like it might double up as a funnel for the Mobil1
