can someone help me out. I want to find the "free modifications" thread from a while back where one of our rennlisters showed how he, without purchasing a new tailight section, added a second set of brake lights like they have in RoW cars....

 

I had no luck either, but I remember this link for rear foglights - it might give you some ideas (and would be much less involved)... gl in any event (and post pics!)

Not having the rennlist forums indexed in google (at least!) is um,, let us say, unfortunate. And I wonder why it is that way, every other forum I know of is open to such, which allows one to use google's "site qualifier" to supplement a site's own search abilities. Sometimes it just plain works better.

Are you thinking about wiring them as brake lights? I got the harness from a 'lister to do the rear fogs. The brake lights would be easy with just the brake light harness - the fog lights are a little more involved.

Thanks guys. It is the Agent Orange mod that Mongelcat linked to (putting additional brake lights in where the euro fog light go). Many thanks. I think this will allow me to remove the baskethandle and still feel safe....
