Looking for 993 Catalytic converter and Aluminum Heater pipe above Cat.

I need these two pieces does anyone have them for sale?
they are right next to each other on the engine. The heater pipe is above the catalytic converter.

Bumping this old thread, I need a cat to fit a 1996 993 with bischoff flanges, please PM if you have one you'd like to sell or trade for a set of fabspeed bypass pipes.

Thanks!

I would be interested in hearing your fabspeeds if you are in Atlanta at some point (or I'm in Athens).

I hit the McDonough/ Stockbridge area every so often but don't get into the ATL very much. Shoot me a PM if you get out this way.

I might be out there next weekend (very tentative); what's the overall exhaust, cat setup you're running?

Stock, except for bypass pipes. Some days I like it, some days I think its too loud. I think that I would like it more on another car...to me it just doesn't match the image of the car (white cab tip.)

My neighbor has a 30,000 mile cat from his 96...do you have a sense of value? If you want to suggest an offer, I'll ask him this evening if he will sell his cat.

Cheers,

Rick

Rick,

Thanks for the offer but I think I have located one via user BobT993. It looks like market values are running between $200-$300. I will let you know if this doesn't workout though and appreciate you asking your neighbor!

Hi Rick,
I need too a cat to fit a 1997 993 C4S with bischoff flanges.
I'm in the way of installing a 200 cat in the OEM,but I'd like to keep the original-one clean.
If you know that your neighbor-one will fit mine and could be shipped to Italy at a fair price,
let me know.
Cheers

Based on a quick chat, he'd be willing to accept $250-300 but I'm afraid the shipping cost would be very significant. We'd be shipping it from Carmel, IN...zip code 46032. I'm willing to help & use any shipper you'd like...our quick quotes on UPS and FedEx indicate that this will cost in excess of $350 to ship.

Please advise how you'd like to proceed.

All the best,

Rick

Rick,

The unit I ended up getting from the other OP had the wrong flanges...would your neighbor take $220 shipped to 30605? This is what I paid for the one I now have to send back to PA.

I will check with him when he returns on the 13th or 14th...he is sailing in the Pacific right now. I'm doubtful he will accept $220 including shipping. He was open to the idea when I discussed $250-300 (see thread comment above) and that didn't include shipping.
