wait, hump and tail or hands? I'm confused...

Mike, I'd go Speedster (complete conversion) OR no humps, with tail.

Cannot wait to see this thing completed

I say no hump AND no tail. If you must have a tail on a cab, I say go RS. I love the painted hard-backs and seat belts. I think the C2S split grill painted body color would be cool. My $.02.

Keep the pics coming, can't wait to see this thing completed,..however that is.

Mike,

With a fear of being banned from this thread too I suggest the following:

Stay with the tail - YOU are sold on that (and i think a tail would look COOOOOOL!!)

Paint and prep the hump RB. Then once the car is COMPLETE (but before you put the roof on) bang the hump on.....

You will have a much better idea of colour once wheels and interior are in and the car is on the ground.....

Remember it is your car - but I would do what those two fools Cactus and Moffat suggested.... Split grill + hump + Speedster Screen = JELLY BEAN ECSTASY

Not a bad idea. Not much extra work.

Mike, will the top fit under the hump? At first blush it doesn't look like it will on the back.

As a thought I'd try to photoshop the thing in matte black and see how it would look back there.

I agree with most here: NO TAIL. they just don't look good on a cab IMHO. I would like to see the hump in black, it might look cool. restraint is sometimes the best statement!

My taste would be to skip the hump and the TT tail. Both are too bulky. I'd try a tonnuea cover in place of the having the top down so as to keep a cleaner line instead of having the bulk of the either the hump or the top in the "down" position. The RS tail might look OK.

Yes to hump and speedster screen; no to tail...and big YES to a widebody conversion since you are having it repainted

I widebody 993 Speedster in Rivi blue with 9.5"/12" Kinesis RS would be sweet! There's one in NorCal that had a rollbar w/hoops and motor by S-Cargo...it looked sweet even though it had a Strosek body/headlight kit on it

since we've all convinced mike to go widebody/speedtster look with the widened speedlines, why not also have him go with a supercharger or tubo setup as well?

seems reasonable to me.

Like Batman by the Bat Signal, I am summoned by the words "993 Speedster!"

Default To hump or not to hump, that is the question.
