So the holiday present FINALLY arrived (new shoes)
Getting inspired by the Japanese Porsches from Rauh Welt, I ordered these back around Thanksgiving, and they finally showed up this past week. I believe they may unofficially be the only set for this Porsche fitment in the country. Special thanks to Danny at Six Autowork and Jim at Work Wheels USA for the help and getting it done. As tires get mounted next week, I will get some proper pics at that time. Nonetheless, I could not wait, and wanted to "test fit" them to check for proper clearance.

ACK! Mike, please please please do not use that jack on your car. These scissor jacks have a very limited life... after some uses it will simply fail, and that's no joke. God forbid you'd be nearby if that happens.
Wheels look great! Were they custom offsets, or does this product actually fit our cars?

LOL! I was debating if I should have put a disclaimer/apology for the crap oem jack in the first post, but now I know I'm working with a detailed bunch here. Yes, my aluminum jack was at another garage (ok, enough excuses).
As for the wheels, if one takes a look at the Work catalog, the Meisters in O disk do have a 5 x 130 PCD sizing availability. I contacted a couple folks, including Jim at Work regarding specs, and since Work typically builds the Brombacher and VS-XX wheels for Porsche fitments, they have the specs for our P-cars already. All I had to do was find a disk that would accomodate 5 x 130, and pick the offsets out of the catalog. It sounds simple, but it did involve a little nailbiting, as the factory in Japan recommended at least a 5mm spacer for the fronts to clear the big reds (as the pics indicate, and to my elation, the spacers are not necessary for clearance- I bolted the fronts up, checked clearance, spun the wheel around ). As for the Rauh Welt guys in Japan, I believe they put two inner barrels together for their crazy sizes and offsets (i.e. not DOT).
Quick specs are 18 x 8.5" +49mm, 18 x 11" +43mm O disk, matte black. I believe Gloss Black, Silver, and White are standard colors, but Work, being custom, can prob spec whatever finish one wants at add'l charge (lead time will prob be a lil longer too, but not as long as a custom Volk, per se).
If one were to bite for these, I would recommend Six Autowork, as they were nothing but top notch. I was referred to them through a good friend (college buddy that used to work for HKS and now has moved on to media stuff).

I was thinking of getting some Fikse but I really like the Work. Wow, that's a long wait. But worth it, they look good.
