I saw this in Autotrader it's been listed for awhile......Asking $84,000.00
Check out this Strosek "steel" 964 bodied 911 speedster. Originally purchased new in 1994 by Barry Bonds as a white 911 speedster. The car then had Strosek body kit made for it by hand in STEEL. Only the front and rear bumper mouldings are fiberglass. Powered by an Andial built big bore conversion 340 horsepower 3.8 liter H-6 engine with many upgrades and a 5 speed manual 993 transmission. Equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, Front fog lights, 4 wheel ABS disc brakes, dual front air bags, chrome alloy wheels, leather, and more.... Custom features include an Alpine flip face multimedia stereo system with DVD and navigation, 993 third brake light, 993 gearbox, Porsche "Big red" brakes, custom twin hoop roll bar, color coded gauges, 993 induction and headers, way to much too list. Car has been in 911 & Porsche magazine, as well as a Dream Cars 2000 calender.

I kind of knew the 2nd owner that bought the car after Barry sold it, he use to come into Partsheaven.
Barry originally removed the speedster seats and put in the factory seats.....probably because the speedster seats were to tight for him.. He was a growing boy as you all know.
My buddy bought the original speedster seats from the dealer and had them signed by Barry. He was going to make them into office chairs but never got around to it. When the 2nd owner bought the car my buddy told him he had the original seats and the guy wanted them so he sold it back to the 2nd owner.
just a little insight... We use to call it the Barry Bondo car

Sonny & Scott-- Thanks, brothers.
Still looking for the BF Goodrich poster (or any non-factory ads that feature Porsche Speedsters).
I dig companies that use Speedsters to advertise.
Short of ads like that, Speedster photos are always welcome!
Speaking of ads, I think I saw a billboard for jeans (not mass-produced brand like Levis, Lee's, Wrangler, Gap, etc.)
that featured a silver 356 Speedster months ago.
Was driving near Hollywood, & forgot about 'til now.
Maybe that rings a bell, & someone has the image to share?
In the meantime, more of Barry's Strosek bling-mobile:

Note the magazine feature on the windshield.
Same 964, different seats (or before being dyed blue).
PS I luv 964 Speedster Recaro bucket seats!!! Anyone else?

^ ^ I luv Speedster bucket seats, dyed leather or not!
I'm not doing a good job of keeping this thread on track (green 911 BFG poster / Speedsters in ads); I'm not even a huge Strosek fan, but just stumbled on this...

while I'm going off the deep end...
IIRC, this is originally a 1994 Speedster; I saw it FS on eBay years ago...
