My PCA pres sent out pics of that a few weeks ago. Good stuff, huh? I wanted to come to the IRL trials, but was just getting in from Disney World and the little lady wasn't up to it. Saw it on Speed and it sounds like George is pushing hard to get them here. Would be a great addition to the schedule. And the improvements he is offering would make the DP and GT racing more exciting.

I was amazed at how much faster the Indy cars were than the Rolex cars. Before this weekend, the track record was ~1:23.xx, held by Max Angelelli (sp?) in the Suntrust DP. The Indy cars started running yesterday at 9:00am (Indy Light on Sat.) and by about 10:30am, Scott Dixon had already run a 1:10.96 and they still had the afternoon and all day today to run. I too REALLY hope they can get the IRL to add Barber to the schedule. I think if anybody can do it, Mr. Barber can. BTW, you know he was a founding member of our PCA region...you can't beat that kind of support...
Supposedly that car has been assigned a driver....They have a standing invite to join us at our DEs, so hopefully we'll only be seeing his lightbar on the track!
