Default Morning's hard work

Well, I spent the morning working on the car. It started as an oil change and only grew a little from there. For those who haven't seen it, I have the worlds smallest garage and a sloping driveway. So, I backed the car out of the garage far enough that I could open the door and get out. Then, I put it on jack stands. I haven't found an easy way to remove the engine cover while puting the car on jack stands. I end up jacking it up pretty high on one side and wiggling it out. Then I can jack the rear of the car by the engine and put the rear jack stands in place.

So, while I was in there, I replaced the rear sway bar with the M030 sway bar. I had a US Turbo bar back there. Now my Euro M030 suspension is complete.

I also swapped all wheels/tires from the winter snows to summer Toyo TR1s mounted on 17" factory cups. They feel considerably lighter than my faux twists and michiline Alpines.

Next weekend, maybe swap brake fluid. With a young child (<12 months) projects take a long time.

Bob,
I still need to flush my brake fluid. You're more than welcome to bring your missile over next weekend and we can do it with my Motive bleeder.

Wondering about that sloped driveway...one might make some ramps that would level and lift the car at the same time...just thinking...
