I turned 40 last summer. Get a faster car, younger girfriend, wuit your job to start your own business... no, just kidding.

Actually, in a Russian tradition it is bad luck to celebrate 40th birthday. Have no idea why, just an odd tradition.

PS. I did teach my young GF to drive in a 993. Manual, of course. It's all downhill for her from there

Same with glassess in fourties. Same with hair. I have a friend who wears a hat all the time to control his "wavy hair". The hat, in windy conditions, prevents the one hair on the right side of his head from "waving at the other hair" on the other side of his head. The inscription on his hat-The More Hair I Lose, The More Head I Get" so I guess not all is bad.

Oh, and Paul, Happy Birthday!

Seems everyone quickly started discussing their own plight.

... It's not just girls...Most young people can't drive a manual! ...

It's worse than that. Most young people can't READ a manual.

I've been with glasses for about 6 years now...sheesh.

As for the spare tire, mine is a collapsible, not a full size.

Happy Birthday!

If you want to run your odometer back, you can try to do a "Ferris Bueller" and walk backwards for the next couple of years.

That reference should work for those of us who are 40 (er ... 42).
