I thought these AMG cars were less expensive since I see them constantly everywhere I drive. I am in some serious shock right now. Not like the new Maserati that parks outside of the garage makes any sense to me either. BTW kids driving what I am talking about.

That's pretty funny. Talk about watering down the product.

[QUOTE=pewter82;6389175]Here's one at my dealership , if anyone wants more info let me know. I can sell it to a Rennlister even cheaper.

Man, that's a great price for a car that I used to lust after (still do). ($34,900)

MB dont hold vaule for Sh%t. My buddy bought a brand new 600SL in 1993 for 122K plus Tax. He sold it for 12.5K in 2006 with 29K Miles. In comparison if you spent 120K on a Porsche in 1993 (3.6 Turbo), its still work $40- $50K now. Porsches are not investments, but hold value better than most high end cars.

I would NEVER buy a new MB off the lot unless I got a great lease on them. 180K for MB is nuts!

I dunno girls. A personal coupe with globs of power, handling of a dynosaur, automatic transmission and the looks of a Buick.... just doesn't do it for me at any price.

Tony, link it! Let's see what they have to say about 993s

I dunno, MB cars stopped being appealing to me after early 70s. Very early 70s.

BTW, $51K is a lot for that 996TT - there's one for $55K or less with 16k miles on member's classifiedshere - a much better deal, although not a great deal either. They are sub-$40K cars now, so...

Seems like so many of the new cars are a like personal computers. Lot's of bucks when first introduced, but then fall off a cliff when the newer, 'better', faster model comes out.

LOL. True dat. Sexy? Not too. Ostentatious? Oh yeah. Fun in a straight line? Most likely...for a little while at least.
