See Alberts pic above. MarkD and I are modifying stock shift rods by removing the sloppy rubber factory joint, making it like the RS rod. It has been dubbed the "Golden Rod" It takes the slop out of the shifter, giving it a mechanical, more precise feel.

See that guy sitting next to the TT in the Avatar. That is FisterD. He can tell you everything about the Golden Rod, as he created it. I also put in the RS shifter and RS fork to go along with the G-rod. A must do for quick precise shifting. Another thing I did was replace all the ball cups and front rod while I was in there. That thing is TIGHT

I should of said MarkD. Sorry. You guys are doing thse together, right? Hell I am confused. BTW the front rod, stock shifter and fork will be leaving Monday. I boxed them up tonight and out them to the attention of "Test Mule Department".

Yup, spent most of the day today making more of these and machining joints for more later...
