About an hour away from where I live All of the MD/VA/DC folks on here should be very excited about this.

Down in St. Mary's County MD. Route 4 or Route 5 heading south will get you to it.

Lets hope for the best. A lot of "plans" are changing these days. It looks great, though.

So given the development of this complex I will not only need a dedicated track car but I will need to buy a shifter kart, a dirtbike, another sportbike, and an offroad vehicle.

Only 7 miles from my house, or 12 miles north of Patuxent River NAS on route 235. Lots of infrastructure in place already to support the base during the week. You can find the area on Mapquest or Google by selecting Alvey lane, Hollywood, MD (St Marys County).

I was wondering when you were going to chime in on this one. If thats where I think it is, its literally 5 min from where I used to live.

I'd wait to buy the lot until the track, owners lounge is completed and lien free.
I've seen many of these "pie in the sky developments" come and go in the past decade.
How do I know? $800k lost on one such golf course deal.....

It's adjacent to the northern turn from 235 onto Cloverhill Road.

Always wanted a shifter kart, dirtbike, and I should have kept the sport bike and turned it into a track only appliance.

Yeah this is a lot more then just a karting track but I've race at K1speed out in Cali and it was the best indoor karting experience I have ever had.
