Mike,
I'd keep the Sport Classic II's. The calipers will show very nicely through the rims especially while you are driving the car.

Mike I have real nice Gembella Competition wheels but they do not fit the cab. As soon as I sell those wheels I am really seriously looking at getting Rufs like Pong .
Those rims are awesome .

Cheers Guy

Yes I am very close, in Frankfort. The wheel offset is 52 front, 61 rear and the bolt pattern is 5 X 130mm. I have standing offer of $$4000 right now and these are rare wheels. Porsche sells them new for around 7K, Wheel Enhancement sells used ones $5500 - when they have them. He said he hasn't seen a set in almost a year.

WILL THESE FIT?
$4000 is pretty steep, knowing that a set of brand new ones is just over $5000.
How "rare" is a wheel that is still available from Porsche...

Sorry for the OT but can you give me details on the Gemballas? They are one of my favorite wheels and if the set you have are widebody offsets, I'm sure I can find a home for them

Glad you like my modular Ruf wheels. I am rather fond of them myself. BTW, you can have my wheels, $64,990 firm, and there is a car attached to them. What a deal!!!!

I'm with Gert here.

If you are paying $4000 for wheels, I would pay $5000 instead and get them new from Sunset. No stories, no worries about shipping and transferring money and having to trust the guy etc etc. Just brand new wheels for a small markup.

^^^^I like the idea of new wheels best as well. However, if Mike could get them for under 4K it might be worth reconsidering. I also believe the wheels were fairly close and he may be able to pick them up resulting in zero shipping costs. All in the interests of "helping" Mike with his decision.

Their is the issue of the one damaged wheel and removal of 8 year old rock hard tires. One issue with the speedlines is they have a thick clear coat on the outer lip. If your shop isn't supper careful they will damage it and it is tough to make look perfect again. So the added removal of old tires and mounting new is always a concern.

Last I checked the latest run of speedlines is coming to an end. The wheels are out there but not as easy to access as before. You might find it will take time for Sunset or someone else to locate a complete set. I also have had issues with some of the wheels coming through with clear coat defects. For all I know the only wheels out there are wheels with minor manufacturing defects. I would check sunset to verify availability. Also some of the early recent production of these wheels had an issue with SPEEDLINE coming with a small case "i" instead of an upper case "I". 90% of the people don't even notice it but it bothers some.
