If you've removed your clutch vent tube, what did you replace it with?

If I understand how the clutch vent system works (which I may not!), I don't think putting a filter on the cover will do anything whatsoever. The clutch dust is sucked out of the transmission bellhousing by way of the vacuum pressure created by the engine intake. When you remove the tubing that connects the airbox to the bellhousing, there is of course no more vacuum, and therefore no clutch dust gets sucked out of the vent. So putting a filter on it won't do anything.
