Well done "stuttgarter"! Hope you are having fun w/ "blue"

 

I have a wood **** with a metal top shift pattern that was loose. After much fiddling to remove I couldnt find a set screw, and trying numerous adhesives to no avail I used a hypo and a 25gauge needle and injected crazy glue all around the edges taped in place, repeated, then buffed away any residual glue. That was 2 years ago.

Be sure to cover all of the surrounding shift boot from any spills and go slow.
