Alarm remote ?
I have a '95 with the factory alarm but no remote. I need to put the key in the lock. If I purchase a remote fob, is it easy to program or do you need an original switchblade remote for the programming?

As far as I know, '95 did not have remotes. You can install an aftermarket remote lock / unlock. I just installed a crimestopper unit and it works great! Do a search as there are quite a few posts about this very subject.

You'll need to install an aftermarket keyless entry. I got one from JC Whitney for about $25.
There's a thread with step by step instructions. Search for: Remote door lock/unlock for '95 993 (IIRC that's the title).
Took about 30 minutes.
