If you want more sound and still keep the RSRs, go with new cats or X-pipes (read: expensive). If you want to keep your stock cats, but want great sound at a great price (and great customer service) - go with Stage IIs or IIIs from Darin. Supercups are definitely loud, but they're not for everyone. Motorsound airbox won't change your exhaust note at all, it just adds a little more intake noise.

Try the RSRs with 100 cell sports cats; hopefully my sound links are still working. You'll find this plenty loud and a lovely race car sound. I finally collected my car after a year in storage (big house extension project) and when I went to collect my car they were having a Boxster registrar meeting at the garage. It was like something out of Dawn of the Dead when my car turned up! they were all coming over to look and hear it.

Barney....you could have just passed on the mufflers all together and gone straight out of the cats. I did that w/100cell 130mm cats and it sounds the biz and really not loud in the car for freeway driving...those turbos really quiet things down.
By the was has anyone done any research to see if the effect of installing an Xpipe on a N/A 993 motor? Curious to see if it sounds fantastic, yet costs hp/tq or if you gain anything anywhere.

This is mine with 100 cells , factory sound package plus sport factory mufflers-loving it for many years.
