If you'd like to know more about Lou Gehrig's Disease (aka ALS) you can visit www.alsala.org
Also, if you are at a baseball game on July 4th, you will be treated to a reenactment of Gehrig's retirement speech. Stop by a booth and say hello.

Very well done, Thanks for sharing. If anyone knows someone who suffers (or suffered) from ALS, my heart goes out to them. One of the strongest people I have ever know died from ALS 2 years ago. He survived the invasion of Poland by Germany, contributed to society in many significant ways, only to be weakened and ultimately passed from ALS.

hey guys...
been struggling keepin' up w/ life changes & all, so i've been away for a while.
fred mentioned his posting; thank you for the nice comments & props. i too had a friend/co-worker from nyc who died @ 38 of this tragic disease. reminded me: no matter what i go through, i have no reason to complain when i see others get a disease that has no know cause or cure like this.
& yeah i agree we had some great "talent" there... to film! man, i was sooo happy we could simply stay outta' the way & film these beautiful people speaking from the heart like this.
everyday IS a gift. & some of us w/ p-cars are the luckiest guys/gals in the world!
btw fred will be cuttin' these a short webisodes so newly diagnosed people can get some 1st hand info. off google. wanna' try & see if we do a 2min. cut for the local cinemas too. go fig'ya, our 993's were the spark of all this...

Thanks for the inspiration to enjoy my life to the fullest each and every day. My heart goes out to those suffering this terrible disease.
Thanks for sharing Rich's fine work.

Folks,
Rich is brilliant in what he does. This Pals video brought tears to my eyes and made my life-struggles (for what they are) trivial by comparison.
Many of you might have seen this one (Porsche content), how many know Rich did this as well. Enjoy.

Great video. Wonderful content. Make you appreciate your health and what you have...and make you be a lot more compassionate to people that can't be as healthy as they would like to be.

I'm choking back the tears now too. Had a coworker several years ago that ended up being diagnosed w/ ALS after about a year of the doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with him.
Great job on the film.
