Default Droopy glove box and ash tray

My glove box and ash tray don't seem to latch in the correct position. Once latched they both stick out about an 1/8 inch.

Should I focus on more important things (like installing a Latte holder ), or is there a fix for this?

Did you do a search? The solution is readily available. Try "glove box latch".

With shame, I must admit I didn't.

Now that I read the posts from 8 YEARS AGO, I feel pretty stupid for not searching first.

It seems the latch is adjustable. Porsche never ceases to amaze me...the fact that they would take the time to design in adjustability to a glove box latch...wow.

Find the thread that I started a couple years ago. It explains it extremely well.

Thanks Eric, found it. Looks easy to fix, though if a shim is needed I'll probably use metal shim stock.

Sweet car buy the way!
