So this is my first shot at changing the oil. I removed this drain plug thinking it was the main drain but apparently it wasn't even though some oil came out of it . I'm sure someone here can identify it (it's right next to the oil return line) and let me know what to do next other than just put the bolt with this spring back in.

The the oil pressure relief valve you removed, just put it back the way it came out.
